Manchester City win Premier League title after Manchester United lose to West Brom
Manchester, England – Manchester City won the Premier League title after Manchester United lost to West Bromwich Albion at home 1-0.
Pep Guardiola’s side are now unreachable at the top of the table after United’s loss to the Baggies. This is City’s third title in seven seasons. This is the first title for the Catalan manager Guardiola.
They have dominated the title race, scoring 93 goals and losing just twice. Since Sheik Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan took over as owner of the club in 2008, City have won seven trophies. These include FA Cup, two League Cups and an FA Community Shield.
For Guardiola, this is his 24th title after previously winning league titles in Spain and Germany.
