Yankees Set To Take On Red Sox In ALDS

After defeating the A’s in the Wild Card game, the Yankees are ready for baseball’s best. The Bronx Bombers are sending J.A. Happ to the hill to take on Red Sox ace Chris Sale in Game 1 of the ALDS. On the year, J.A. Happ is 17-6 with a 3.65 ERA and 196 strikeouts on the year, Red Sox ace Chris Sale is 12-4 on the year with a 2.11 ERA and 237 strikeouts. Fans can catch one of the best rivalries in sports at 7:30 pm EST on TBS.

Judge, Stanton, Andujar Ready For Red Sox

Yankees-slugger Aaron Judge looks to lead the Bronx Bombers past the best team in all of baseball. The Yankees pose as the biggest threat to the Red Sox postseason run this season. After dominating the Wild Card game, the Yankees have a ton of momentum to defeat their arch-rival. On the Red Sox side, they have arguably the two best players in the sport in Mookie Betts and JD Martinez. Their star-studded lineup enters the series with one of the best seasons in baseball history. They are tasked with a powerful Yankees lineup (that led all of baseball in homers) to advance to the ALCS against the Astros or the Indians. The best rivalry in sports is expected to be even better in the playoffs.

Who Wins The Series?

This series can honestly go both ways. The Red Sox are the better team on paper, but the Yankees have a dangerous lineup that can go toe-to-toe with almost anyone. On the Yankees side, they have stars from top to bottom that can hit almost any pitcher in baseball. On the Red Sox side, they have two MVP-candidates in Martinez and Betts that can mash their way through the playoffs. If the Yankees can shut down those two, they have a great chance to advance to another World Series.
