Clemson vs Georgia Southern Recap
The third week of college football for the Clemson Tigers has come to an end. The game was not a massive blowout, but a reasonable shutdown. Let’s take a look at the Clemson vs Georgia Southern recap.
Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant left the game just before halftime and was in the locker room for the third quarter before returning to the Clemson sideline at the outset of the fourth quarter. Bryant landed hard with his chest on the ball after being tripped up on a first-down run. He came off the field and was replaced by freshman backup quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who threw a 57-yard touchdown pass two plays later. Bryant completed 7 of 10 passes for 68 yards and rushed six times for 27 yards in the first half.
Bryant told Coach Dabo Swinney he was “OK” when he returned to the sideline. During the halftime interview with Dabo Swinney he told ESPN that Bryant said he “was having trouble breathing.”
