Red Sox Are Ready For Game One Against Rival Yankees
The Yankees were able to power past the Oakland Athletics to win them a date with the Red Sox in the ALDS. Their rival Yankees are in town and look to push the Red Sox out early. Chris Sale gets the ball for game one. And J.A Happ going for Yankees tonight as well. In the overall series, I like the Red Sox over the Yankees in five games. This is the first time these two teams have faced each other in the ALDS. However, they have faced three other times in the ALCS where the Red Sox are 1-2 against the Yankees.
Keys For Game One
The Red Sox have one of the best pitchers in the MLB going tonight in Chris Sale. And with that offense, it’s going to be a tough task for the Yankees to overcome. I think the Red Sox will take this game without a problem. Of course, Chris Sale is going to have to be on his game tonight. As we all know, nothing comes easy in the postseason. Look for the Red Sox to get started with the scoring early and keep Happ uncomfortable.
Chris Sales Needs To Turn Things Around Tonight
The name “Chris Sale” means a lot on its own. Thinking with Sale going tonight and that offense it should be an open and shut game. In two career postseason starts Sale has an 8.38 ERA in 9.2 IP with a 1.45 WHIP. Which is completely not like Chris Sale. If he doesn’t want to become the next Clayton Kershaw, then he needs to make a statement in tonight’s start. If Sale does struggle, however, there will be a lot of questions surrounding the Red Sox this postseason.
Chris Sales Final Line(Prediction)- 5.0 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB and 5 SO
