Corey LaJoie, Danielle Trotta Join Stacked NASCAR on Amazon Prime Team

NEW YORK – Amazon Prime Video made a few additions to their NASCAR broadcast lineup public on Monday. Third-generation driver Corey LaJoie and veteran NASCAR media personality Danielle Trotta will both be featured on Prime Video’s pre and post-race coverage. The streaming platform will welcome both panelists starting with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 25.

LaJoie and Trotta are welcome additions to an already star-studded Prime Video team. Their broadcast booth crew will be anchored by race announcer Adam Alexander, NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte.

“We are excited to welcome Danielle and Corey to our Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer, Prime Video. “These two professionals have dedicated their careers to NASCAR. We can’t wait to bring their energy and love for the sport to our inaugural season this summer.”

Danielle Trotta owns over a decade’s worth of sports broadcasting experience, including NASCAR, IndyCar, the NFL, NBA, MLB, collegiate athletics, Supercross, and MotoGP. In addition to her on-camera presence at Mecum Auctions on Motortrend and Max, she also hosts On-Track, airing daily on SiriusXM NASCAR radio.

“NASCAR is entering a new frontier by welcoming in their first streaming partner in Prime Video and to be chosen as the host for this inaugural season is a huge honor,” said Trotta. “I’ve covered Corey throughout his respective driving career and can’t wait to join him at the desk, bringing our knowledge and experience to millions of fans beginning with one of the crown jewel NASCAR races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Coca-Cola 600. May can’t come soon enough.”

Corey LaJoie, a third-generation racecar driver whose father and grandfather are in the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame, joins the team having the distinction of the most recent on-track experience. LaJoie earned his way to the NASCAR Cup Series through both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the ARCA Menards Series with nine combined wins. 2023 was a career high point to-date for LaJoie, earning two top-fives and three top-10 finishes. His continued presence remained constant in 2024, driving for Spire Motorsports before finishing the season with Rick Ware Racing. LaJoie also hosts the popular weekly NASCAR podcast, Stacking Pennies.

LaJoie will also continue to be a part-time driver as well. He will attempt both the Daytona 500 and race two of the Cup season in Atlanta driving a No. 01 Rick Ware Racing Ford with sponsorship from Take 5 Oil Change and Duramax. LaJoie’s part-time racing efforts will also promote his new Stacking Pennies Performance brand.

“The opportunity to be a part of the inaugural season of Prime Video covering our sport is something I could have never dreamed of,” LaJoie said. “Competing part time in the Cup Series while also joining Danielle Trotta will be a unique combination. My time with a mic, instead of a steering wheel, will certainly give me a new perspective on NASCAR. I am excited to help Amazon deliver fresh and creative coverage that our fans want.”

More Prime Video talent and further broadcast details will be announced in the near future.

Beginning in May, Prime Video will be the exclusive home of five NASCAR Cup Series races. The streaming giant will wrap up the first half of this season. Prime Video will also be the exclusive coverage home of multiple practice and qualifying sessions across 2025’s first half. This excludes the Cook Out Clash, Duel at Daytona, Daytona 500, and the NASCAR All-Star Race. For a complete list of Prime Video-capable devices, visit amazon.com/howtostream.
