Rain Pushes 66th Daytona 500 to Monday Evening Running

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Daytona 500, the opening race for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, has been postponed until Monday, February 19 at 4 p.m. ET. due to persistent weather issues.

Broadcast platforms for the race remain the same: FOX, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. The Great American Race will immediately follow the rescheduled running of the Daytona Xfinity race, that event will go green at 11 a.m.

Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. ET and venue gates, hospitality and the Hardrock Bet Fanzone will open at 10 a.m. ET. All United Rentals 300 and Daytona 500 tickets, hospitality passes, and parking passes will be honored on Monday.
