Kyle Busch to Run Five Races Apiece in 2023 Xfinity, Craftsman Truck Series

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The all-time winningest driver in both the NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series, Kyle Busch will make select starts in each division for 2023. As a Cup veteran, Busch is only allowed to make five starts in each series. Busch has ran his own Truck ever since 2010, while he has not made any Xfinity starts since 2021. Busch leads the Truck Series with 62 wins and also has 102 career Xfinity victories. Expect both of those numbers to grow in the coming months.

Busch will drive the No. 51 Chevrolet Silverado with new partner Zariz Transport. The Kyle Busch Motorsports team will have the boss behind the wheel at Las Vegas (3/3), Circuit of the Americas (3/25), Martinsville (4/14), Kansas (5/6), and Pocono (7/22). In KBM’s first year with Chevrolet, this will be Busch’s first Truck start in a bowtie since 2007. In five Truck starts in 2022, Busch won once at Sonoma.

“I’m really excited to have Zariz as the primary sponsor on my No. 51 Silverado for my five races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in the coming years,” Busch said. “Samantha and I were introduced to Zariz through our foundation and immediately developed a great connection with them and we are honored that not only have they committed to the Truck Series sponsorship for multiple years, but they’ll also continue being the presenting sponsor of our Bundle of Joy Fund gala. We feel that introducing them to NASCAR consumers and people within the industry on the national stage through the Craftsman Truck Series makes perfect sense given the nature of their business and I can’t wait to make them a part of KBM’s winning tradition.”

In Xfinity, Busch will pilot the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing. Due to Landon Cassill’s sponsor issues, this car is now an all-star seat with a rotation of drivers. Also slated for appearances in the 10 are AJ Allmendinger, Justin Haley, and Austin Dillon. Busch will drive at Las Vegas (3/4), Phoenix (3/11), Charlotte (5/27), Watkins Glen (8/19), and Darlington (9/02). In his last year running Xfinity in 2021, Busch went five-for-five in wins. At the time, 2021 marked Busch’s Xfinity Series retirement. However, Busch had fun in a creative video saying ‘I’m Back.”

“I’m looking forward to having some fun in the Xfinity Series again,” said Busch. “What Matt Kaulig and Chris Rice have built in just a few short years at Kaulig Racing is impressive, and with the team’s alliance with Richard Childress Racing (RCR), this made for an easy decision to be back competing in a series that I’ve had success in over the years.”

Busch will be going for a triple-threat sweep at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March. Can Rowdy reign supreme three times over at his home track? Be sure to watch all three races on Fox Sports 1 and FOX.
