2023 Schedules Announced for Cup, Xfinity, Truck Series

Wednesday afternoon, NASCAR released the three National Touring Series schedules for the 2023 season. See below for a few of the highlighted changes for 2023 NASCAR competition.

Previously announced new ventures at the Chicago Street Course and North Wilkesboro Speedway are the major changes to the Cup lineup. Race two of the campaign at Auto Club Speedway (Feb. 26) marks the last NASCAR weekend for the two-mile layout. With Texas Motor Speedway losing the All-Star Race, they will have just one NASCAR weekend next year (Sept. 22-24). The 10-race Playoffs will not change at all, with a champion still being crowned at Phoenix Raceway (Nov. 5).

For Xfinity, they will return to Road America (July 29), as well as make their maiden trip to Sonoma Raceway (June 10). Along with an event themselves on the Chicago Street Course (July 1), Xfinity will have eight road courses in their 33-race schedule. Their regular season finale also shifts from Bristol to Kansas (Sept. 9).

In the Truck Series, Bristol Dirt (April 8) will be the lone dirt race, as Knoxville Raceway will not host a NASCAR event in 2023. Trucks will also race on North Wilkesboro alongside the All-Star Race (May 20), as well as return to the Milwaukee Mile (Aug. 27).

See a full breakdown of all three schedules below. Playoff races are in bold.
