HAMPTON, Ga. – Chandler Smith was not happy with teammate John Hunter Nemechek following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Smith, who was leading at the white flag, got passed by teammate Corey Heim into turn 1. Heim was pushed by fellow teammate John Hunter Nemechek, who Smith says did not work well with him all day as agreed upon in an earlier team meeting with the three drivers. Nemechek was two laps down when he pushed Heim to the win, which has some wishing a lapped car wasn’t involved in the finish, including Smith.
