Corey Heim Takes 25th Career Win, Another Bonus Check at Rockingham

UPDATE: Chandler Smith was disqualified from his fourth-place finish. Results below reflect these changes in finishing positions.

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. – Reigning Truck Series Champion Corey Heim now adds his name to a very elite list–Rockingham Speedway winner. The Georgia driver picked up win number two of 2026 amid his part-time campaign. A near wire-to-wire domination was rewarded handsomely with max points and another Triple Truck Challenge bonus.

After starting seventh, it took Corey Heim about half of Stage 1 to find the top spot. Once he made the pass for the lead, Heim left the rest of the field in his dust, taking the opening Stage by five seconds. TRICON Garage’s No. 1 remained P1 in a stage-sweeping day.

Stage 3 was much of the same for Heim. The Truck Series’ dominator never even needed to relinquish his stranglehold to pit, thanks to a timely last caution. Despite lapped traffic allowing Kaden Honeycutt to close in late, nobody could stop the 1’s march to victory lane. Heim also pockets another Triple Truck Challenge bonus check, taking home a cool $150,000.

“I didn’t feel like I was pushing any harder than the previous run,” Heim said. “I didn’t feel like I did any more damage to the right front. But all of a sudden with like four [laps] to go, my truck just started, I had to turn more right down the straightaway to keep it straight. My wheel was clocked like 20 degrees to the right. And then we started chattering really bad in the corners. I was like ‘oh boy, here we go, we’re going to lose this one in the worst way possible.’ But hung in there, had to use a couple of lapped car picks there to fend him off. Respect to Kaden for racing clean there, I had to do what I had to do there at the end. First win for Robinhood, first win in my J’s, my race shoes here. Thank you to Toyota and TRICON for having me back again, really enjoy doing this. Stressful ending there but I got it done to go for $500K next week.”

Rockingham marks career Truck win number 25 for Heim, putting him alone at fifth on the all-time wins list. Part-time schedule or not, Heim should slowly continue to climb further up into Truck Series royalty in 2026.

Behind Heim and Honeycutt at the finish were: Layne Riggs, Stewart Friesen, and Grant Enfinger. The rest of the Rockingham top-10 were: Tyler Ankrum, Corey Lajoie, Ty Majeski, Jake Garcia, and Cole Butcher. Hear from a few of these drivers below.

The Truckers are right back in action next week from Bristol Motor Speedway. The Tennessee Army National Guard 250 goes green Friday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, NRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Corey Heim will try and keep his perfect streak alive in the Triple Truck Challenge, trying to pocket a half million-dollar check from Craftsman.
