Takefusa Kubo Loaned To RCD Mallorca

Real Madrid confirms Takefusa Kubo will be loaned to RCD Mallorca.

The Japanese international was initially with Raul Gonzalez’s Real Castilla. However, the club believes it would do him better to play in first division.

There was talk of a pontential move to Ronaldo’s Real Valladolid earlier this summer. However, that move did not happen.

The 18-year-old spent this summer under Zinedine Zidane and senior squad.

However, restrictions on non-EU players prevented Zidane from keeping him in first team.

La Liga only allows three non-EU players. Real Madrid already have Eder Militao, Vinicius and Rodrygo under that category.

The youngster spent time with FC Tokyo, Yokohama F Marinos while also spending time in Barcelona’s youth ranks.

Kubo becomes one of many youngster moves that the Blancos are making this summer.

Martin Odegaard (Real Sociedad), Borja Mayoral (Levante), and Sergio Reguilon (Sevilla) all made a move.

Additionally, Oscar Arnaiz (Leganes), Andriy Lunin, Sanchez and De Frutos (Valledolid) have also made moves this summer.

The youngster will play a key role in Mallorca as Los Bermellones will need the help.
