Teal Piper, Daughter of Roddy Piper, to compete at AEW All-Out
Teal Piper, musician, actress, and the daughter of the legendary “Rowdy” Roddy Piper; is set to make a big splash on the world stage of professional wrestling. Revealed as one of the talents scheduled to appear in AEW’s Casino Battle Royale, Teal looks to honor her father’s legacy.
The reveal happened on the latest episode of “The Road to All-Out”. Brandi Rhodes explained that the battle royale will be an all-female match. Additionally, with the winner getting a shot at the AEW Women’s Championship. The women’s champ will be crowned on the first episode of AEW’s TNT show.
Teal spoke candidly about being the daughter of Roddy Piper; how his love for the business also led to him shielding his family from it, as he feared retaliation from those who had issues with him. And while she feels that stepping into the ring will bring her closer to her father, she didn’t reveal how long she had been training.
However, she is not the only surprise talents that will be in the battle royale. Additionally, revealed to take part in the match was former NWA Women’s Champion and former WWE competitor Jazz. They’ll be joined by former Lucha Underground star Ivelisse, as well.
All-Out will be live on August 31st.
