60% Boca Jrs. Lands Daniele De Rossi
Argentinian press believes that there is a 60% chance that Boca Jrs. lands Daniele De Rossi.
De Rossi’s contract will expire this summer and will be leaving Roma after 18 years with the club.
“There’s a Final on Sunday and we’re focused on that,” President Daniel Angelici told Fox Sports, referring to the Copa de la Superliga semi-final against Argentinos Juniors.
“There’s time to talk about reinforcements in June and July. Then it’ll also be necessary to see if there are offers for our current players.
“If someone leaves then someone else will come in, but for now we’ll think about Sunday because there are lads here who got us to the Final.”
Additionally, Fox indicates that De Rossi has reached out to former Giallorossi teammates for information about the club. Among the players he has reach are Dani Osvaldo and Leandro Paredes.
De Rossi is a huge fan of the Xeneize side and has previously said he would love to play for the team.
The 35-year-old is very keen of the move as well. However, it will be up to the player and club to decide if he moves to the southern hemisphere for one last contract.
