Gian Piero Gasperini And Roma Reach Deal

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini have reached a deal to become AS Roma’s next manager.

Claudio Ranieri has announced he will be exiting the Roman side at the end of the season.

According to Radio Radio, Gasperini has signed a three-year contract with Roma, worth 2.5 million euros.

The 61-year-old has merged as the adequate manager after three seasons in charge of Atalanta.

Additionally, he’s taken the Nerazzurri from relegation battlers to European contenders and Coppa Italia finalist.

However, Gasperini is coming off a lost to Roma’s bitter rivals, Lazio.

Also, fans have begun raving about the possibility of Gasperini joining and putting Lazio back in their place next season.

Nevertheless, many are also happy to see the manager pair back with Bryan Cristante, a pair that did well together.

Meanwhile, Ranieri is set to take the job with Celtic in Scotland.

Celtic are looking to replace current interim boss Neil Lennon. Additionally, Lennon arrived at Celtic after Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester earlier in the year.

Celtic currently sit in first place in the Scottish Premiership with 84 points.
