Keylor Navas Is Out Of Real Madrid

Real Madrid has communicated to Keylor Navas that they do not count with him for next season.  The news was reported by Edu Aguirre from Jugones in La Sexta.

Aguirre added that the three-time Champions League winner wanted to stay with the club to fight for a spot. However, given that the club has made a decision, he has opted to leave the club this summer.

Additionally, he will start at goal for Zinedine Zidane one last time this Sunday when they face Real Betis.

Los Blancos are set to host the Seville side at Santiago Bernabeu which will allow him to get his last farewell.

Navas became a sensation after the 2014 Brazil World Cup and joined Real Madrid that summer.

Since his arrival he has been more than spectacular, and at times, the savior for Real Madrid. Never has he publicly criticized his team or club instead has always stayed firm he wants to stay and continue fighting.

In 2015, he was close to being dealt to Manchester United in a transfer that would bring David De Gea to Madrid. However, that fell through and the rest is now history.

After five seasons, the club is handing over the keys of the goal posts to Thibaut Courtois.

There are several sides looking for a goalkeeper in England, he will likely end in another European giant.
