Ivan Rakitic Wanted By Manchester United
Manchester United is in the hunt for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic. Inter Milan have shown an interest in the Croatian star.
Rakitic contract runs until the summer of 2021. The Catalans best option to get something for him would be this summer as Frenkie De Jon is joining the Cules this summer.
Additionally, Barcelona have Arturo Vidal alongside Arthur Melo in their lineups.
Reports indicate that Barcelona had a deal in place that saw Rakitic land in Paris for €90m but the move was rejected by the Croatian.
Nonetheless, Rakitic’s representative, Arturo Canales, has indicated his client does not want to leave the club.
However, given the circumstances and his poor performance of late, he has become part of the transfer list of players.
In addition, the overbooking in midfield and his age is playing against him at this time.
Also, his salary is increasing and the club is not interested in giving him a raise.
Since joining the club from Sevilla in 2014, he has won four league titles, one Champions League and four Copas del Rey.
