Juventus Considers Zidane To Replace Allegri

Juventus is considering Zinedine Zidane as a possible replacement for Massimiliano Allegri should he fail to win the Champions League crown.

The 2-0 defeat at the hands of Atletico de Madrid has left the ‘La Vecchia Signora’ at the brink of elimination. Which has brought concerns to the club after spending €100m on Cristiano Ronaldo to get them over the hump.

Additionally, Juventus’ shares dropped 11% on the stock exchange. If the Italian is unable to pass the second leg, they loss can be greater.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Allegri will leave the club if they fail to win the Champions. Additionally, they have added that Zidane is their first choice to replace the Italian manager.

The former Juve player won three consecutive Champions League titles at Real Madrid as a coach. In addition, the French strategist is keen of the opportunity.

However, approaches from Chelsea and Manchester United have also lurk this past week. The Blues have several concerns over Maurizio Sarri and he is still being motivated for a move back to Italy.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have yet to be convinced by Ole Gunner Solskjaer and his position will be determine in the upcoming weeks.
