Kenny Omega Officially Signs All Elite Wrestling Contract

Just in case you thought there was any doubt, Kenny Omega is officially a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster. He is also the Executive Vice-President, along with Cody and The Young Bucks.

The Story Itself

During AEW’s ticket announcement party for Double or Nothing, several names come up for the upcoming roster. The last name on the list is none other than former IWGP Heavyweight champion, Kenny Omega.

Omega took to the stage to confirm his status in the new company. Not long after, Chris Jericho cut in and the two began fighting. Cody and So-Cal Uncensored broke them up. Many now believe this is leading to a match later on at Double or Nothing.

Ever since it became public knowledge that Kenny Omega’s New Japan Pro Wrestling contract was set to expire, fans and others kept guessing what he was going to settle on. Many thought he finally made the jump to WWE, after Vince McMahon offered an “unbelievably huge” contract. Once the Royal Rumble came and went, the chances of Omega showing up in WWE drastically decreased. Now, it’s official he will be a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Things surrounding AEW are starting to get exciting. Double or Nothing goes live this May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada. What else is in store? For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
