Chicharito Ready For Valencia Move, West Ham Have Other Plans
Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has agreed to terms with La Liga side Valencia. However, West Ham have other plans and are blocking the move.
According to Marca on Tuesday, Chicharito is willing to take a pay-cut to leave West Ham.
However, the London side wants a potential move in June instead of the winter transfer. They feel they have invested a great deal of money for his move from Bayer Leverkusen and are unwilling to make the move.
In any case, if Valencia perhaps works a deal that would keep the player permanently, the Hammers will be more open to a move.
So far, Chicharito has four goals and three assists for the Hammers’ side. He has been in La Liga previously with Real Madrid on a six-month spell from Manchester United.
His stance in the Bundesliga has been his best since coming to Europe. However, he has been unlucky in the Premier League.
A return to La Liga will suit him well as he emerged as great backup option to Karim Benzema for Los Blancos.
