As college football teams prepare for their new season in 2019, changes will occur. Missouri extends contract for head coach Barry Odom. What’s exactly the new deal you ask? Let’s take a look.

Missouri Tigers Extends Contract

What’s the contract change?

The members of the University of Missouri Board of Curators voted unknown in favor to extending Odom’s contract another two years; and along with a 600,000 raise. Odom will average up to more then 3 million a year. There will also be a incentive package of more then 1.8 million for player’s academic and athletic performance. Head coach Barry Odom has a 19-18 record in 3 seasons at Mizzou. The Tigers went 8-4 this season, and made it to the bowl games, this year and last.

Missouri has improved over the years. With the new contract extension, we could see more possible better outcomes. The Tigers will more then likely have a bright future ahead of them.

Do you think Missouri Tigers extending contract  of Odom was a good idea? Will they have a better record next year? Could we see a high ranking?
