My Final Review Of Fallout 76, Is It A Stud Or Dud?

The highly anticipated and highly controversial Fallout 76 dropped a few weeks ago. A lot of people have been giving their opinion on the game. Even though it had just dropped and not been out for even a week. People were so quick to dismiss the game without getting full insight into the game. That’s the main reason why I put this review back so far. I wanted to gain a full perspective of the game and what it was about first. After two weeks straight of non-stop Fallout 76, I have finally been able to come to a conclusion on the game.

The Positives

I think the most important positive about this game is the ability to finally roam the wasteland with fellow vault-dwellers. For years I have dreamed about killing Super Mutants and Deathclaws with my friends. And when the game was announced I was stoked for what was to come. The graphics to the game are satisfying, gives off a Fallout 4 vibe too it. Another positive, even though it’s the most frustrating is the difficulty and size of the hordes of enemies.

As far as the quests and storylines go, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the content of the quests and the objectives and can’t wait to see what happens end game. The perk system is a new take but I like the concept of it. Bethesda could tweak it a tad, but for the most part, I’m happy with the perks system.

 The Negatives

Every game in history has negative sides to it, and Fallout 76 is no different. One of the thing that bothers me in the game is an over importance on the “survival” part of the game. In past games, yes the player has had to focus on survival. However, not quite like this, unless you’re playing on Survival Mode. The thing that bothers me the most, and I think I could speak for everyone else when I say this. The stash size is far too small for the number of materials, weapons, and armor that can be obtained. me personally I believe that we should be allowed infinite stash space. Or at least the ability to place multiple crates without them being connected.

The last thing I have a problem with is when hunting for a bounty. Multiple times I have killed the bounty, then proceeded to have a bounty myself. It doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense, and kind of makes hunting for bounties pointless.

My Final Verdict

Fallout 76 is an incredibly fun game that has its share of bugs. And to be honest it’s perfectly fine, every game has its mistakes, I’m sure Bethesda will work it out. And before you know it the game will be running smooth. So, for me the final verdict, this game is indeed a stud.
