College Football

Week 12 of West Virginia Mountaineer football is underway. The last game of regular season for the Mountaineers will be at home against the Oklahoma Sooners. Let’s look at the West Virginia vs Oklahoma preview.

West Virginia vs Oklahoma

West Virginia

The new rankings came out, and West Virginia fell from number 9 to number 13; after a  45-41 loss to Oklahoma State last week, the question is, What kind of condition is the Mountaineers in? In week 6 they loss to Iowa State, and the loss not once stopped them. Will Grier had 364 yards, and 2 touchdowns last week against, the Cowboys, but couldn’t get the win. The Mountaineers are currently behind the Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 conference. West Virginia will host Oklahoma at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium. Can the Mountaineers send the Sooners back to Oklahoma with a loss? Or will the Mountaineers just fall to 8-3?

Oklahoma

The Sooners won last week against Kansas 55-40. Quarterback Kyler Murray had 272 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The win took the Sooners to 10-1 and 1st place in the Big 12 conference, and moved them up to number 6.  Can the Sooners win and go 11-1, or will they just fall to 10-2?
