Bournemouth vs Manchester United Preview

Manchester United are currently in eight place with 17 points. Not even mid season yet and the Red Devils are struggling to win games. Romelu Lukaku could start against Bournemouth after playing 25 mins in the last game. Red Devils definitely need a win against Bournemouth AFC to move up in the table.

However, Manchester United are unbeaten in the last five meetings against Bournemouth AFC. With one of those games ending in a draw. On paper United should be winning this game, but it’s going to be a tough match up for both teams.

Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho will be at the touchline after pleading not guilty to abusive language. It was said he was going to be banned, but not anymore. Mourinho has to motivate the team more after that win over Everton.

Mourinho and the Red Devils should be in the top four, but they need to be performing better and scoring goals to win games.

Squad News

Manchester United will have the services of Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez on match day. Marouane Fellaini is still out, and Antonio Valencia will also be sitting out with an injury. Anthony Martial should start in the match after scoring a wonderful goal against Everton. Additionally, Marcus Rashford is under a lot of pressure and hasn’t been preforming well like he should be.

Bournemouth AFC

Bournemouth are unbeaten at home this season with three wins two draws. They have a big test ahead of them with Manchester United coming to their stadium. Defender Simon Francis has no fear facing the Red Devils, and believes they are perhaps the favorites. Currently Bournemouth are sitting in sixth place with 20 points, just three points ahead of United.
