Brewers Look for Huge Game 5 Win Against Dodgers

After a tough loss in Game 4 last night, the Brewers look for a bounce-back win Game 5 of the NLCS. The Brewers are sending lefty Wade Miley to the mound. On the year, Miley is 5-2 with a 2.57 with 50 strikeouts. Miley started Game 2 for the Crew and is on short rest. He went 5 2/3 scoreless innings in that start. Over his last 10 1/3 innings pitched, Miley has not allowed a run at all. The Dodgers will counter with their ace lefty Clayton Kershaw. On the year, Kershaw is 9-5 with a 2.73 ERA with 155 strikeouts to go with it. In Game 1, Kershaw was charged with five runs in three-plus innings of work. Part of that damage came from a Brandon Woodruff home run. Fans can catch Game 5 at 5:05 pm EST on FS1.

Ryan Braun Looks to Continue Postseason Success

In the postseason, Ryan Braun has been one of the Brewers most dangerous hitters. He is currently slashing .323/.323/.355 with one double and three RBIs. His career postseason numbers are even better! In his career, Ryan Braun is slashing .360/.389/.539 with ten doubles, two homers, and 15 RBIs over 22 career postseason games. Braun has quietly produced on a nightly basis for the Brew Crew. Continue to watch his bat throughout the remainder of the series and beyond.

Brewers Look to Go Home For Clincher

When the Brewers won Game 3 of the series, they guaranteed themselves at least six games. Game 6 will take place back in Milwaukee. The Brew Crew will look to head home with a win tonight, putting themselves one win away from the World Series. However, if they lose tonight, they will go home for two games facing elimination. The Brewers have had great success at home this year. Best case scenario for the Crew is to win tonight and clinch the series back home in Milwaukee.
