The Undertaker Will Make History at SmackDown 1000

It’s no secret that The Undertaker is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. His legendary career spans almost four decades. His undefeated streak at WrestleMania reached 21-0 before losing to Brock Lesnar. Even after the death of the streak, The Undertaker continued competing. His WrestleMania record is now 24-2. He is a former World Heavyweight and WWE Champion. He’s won the Royal Rumble. This incredible career will never be outdone by anyone.

Tuesday, October 16, 2018, The Undertaker adds another accomplishment to his impressive resume. When the Deadman appears on SmackDown 1000, he will be the only WWE Superstar to appear on the first episode of Monday Night RAW, RAW 1000, the first episode of SmackDown, and SmackDown 1000.

History Making Moment

Most wrestlers’ careers only last around a few years. A decade for some. But the all-time greats go far longer than that. The first episode of Monday Night RAW aired on January 11, 1993. The Undertaker wrestled Damien Demento.

On April 29, 1999, the first episode of SmackDown, The Corporate Ministry failed to win against Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. The Corporate Ministry was of course led by The Undertaker. Triple H was his partner that night.

July 23, 2012, saw the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW. The Phenom made his first appearance since WrestleMania 28 to aid his brother Kane against an assault from Jinder Mahal.

When SmackDown 1000 broadcasts, The Undertaker will be the first and only wrestler to appear at all four big events.

The likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, The Hardys, and Kane have all had lengthy careers spanning multiple decades. But neither of them have been around as long as the Deadman. And none of these wrestlers have been a part of all four key milestone moments like RAW 1000, the first RAW, the first SmackDown, and SmackDown 1000.

The Undertaker will be remembered for the streak, his near four decades in the wrestling business, and his lasting impression on fans all over the world. No one has been able to live up to his name. And it’s very possible no one ever will.
