Week 7 of West Virginia Mountaineer football is under way this Saturday. Mountaineers will head to Iowa State, and take on the Cyclones. Lets’s take a look at the West Virginia vs Iowa State preview before the game.

West Virginia vs Iowa State Preview
West Virginia has been very successful this year. They are undefeated and looking great. Quarterback Will Grier has had an excellent season so far. Grier had 332 passing yards and four touchdowns against the Jayhawks of Kansas last week. The Mountaineers had a 38-22 victory. The Mountaineers moved up in the rankings and are now number 6 in the country.
Iowa State has had a rocky season. Their record is 2-3, and one of those wins was a close call game last week. The Cyclones had a 48-42 victory over Oklahoma State. Quarterback Brock Prudy had 318 passing yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception.
What to Look for?
West Virginia is looking to keep the winning streak alive. Iowa State is looking for an upset, and to add another win to the record. Could we see the biggest upset of the season? Prediction: West Virginia is taking the undefeated streak back to Morgantown. Iowa State will fall short and go 2-4.
