The Warriors Fall to Suns in Third Preseason Game

The Warriors faced the Phoenix Suns in game three of their preseason. It resulted in a 117-109 loss to the Suns. The Warriors record at home in the preseason is now 1-2. Coach Steve Kerr was ejected at the end of the first half over a technical foul by the Suns. Kerr was ejected and waved goodbye as he walked off of the floor.

The bright side for the Warriors was Stephen Curry led them in scoring. Curry scored 23 points. He knocked down both of his three-point attempts in the first quarter. He also opened up driving lanes and scored eleven points of his team-high of twenty-three.  Curry was also 4-5 (80%) shooting in the first quarter. Kevin Durant put up twelve points, Damian Jones and Kevon Looney both tied at eleven points behind Curry’s twenty-three.

 

Phoenix Suns Hot At Oracle Arena

The Suns put together a hot shooting performance at Oracle Arena. They outplayed the Warriors on their home floor. In the first quarter, they made seven three pointers and put up 40 points. The Warriors tried to make a come-back at the end of the first-half. The Suns found a solution with a technical and ultimately an ejection of Coach Kerr. It quickly gave the Suns momentum, which resulted in a 10-0 surge to begin the third quarter.

2018 Number One Draft Pick DeAndre Ayton Turns Up The Heat

DeAndre Ayton shined bright at Oracle Arena, putting together an impressive performance. The rookie put up eighteen points, and shot 7-11 from the field. He also had seven rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes. Ayton came and delivered the goods, leading the Suns to victory.

Warriors Have Two More Games Before Regular Season

The Warriors has only two more preseason games before their regular season opener. They open the season on October 16th against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The remaining preseason games will find the Warriors battling it out against the Los Angeles Lakers.
