Opinion: Evolution Equals Revolution

WWE

For all those WWE fans out there, we all know how far the female wrestlers have come. Goals, accomplishments, and new opportunities to show they belong. Yes, at once they were called “Divas” but that’s not the case now. They are Women Superstars. It’s Evolution Equals Revolution.

Several articles and reports say or people in general, say that The Bella Twins shouldn’t be part of the Evolution of the women! Why not? They have accomplished so much and even started this whole revolution. Every female that has set foot in that ring, or in any wrestling promotion brand ever, is part of an Evolution.

Evolution Equals Revolution

Mae Young, Alundra Blayze, Lita, Beth Phoenix, Trish Stratus all maybe former wrestlers but most off they are WWE Hall of Famers; that shows they got up every day and worked their butts off. They started off this Evolution and hoped one day, that the women of today, could take it a step forward: and get chances that they weren’t open to be part of at the time. Former wrestlers come back to share the light and moments with these women, to tell them they all shined bright together.

Every woman that has stepped foot into wrestling period, has heart, courage, ambition, and risk.

Then. Now. Forever

Take a look at the NOW! The now is here to keep building and making history, and to show that a female can do it too. We have seen a Women’s Royal Rumble, woman’s battle royale, Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank, and most all main event matches at pay-per-views. The Women Evolution only gets better and will keep on moving forward! In October we will see a whole new PPV, called Evolution, an all women’s pay-per-view. We will even crown the first ever woman tag team champions. Ever since the first ever female stepped into the ring, they made history. Charlotte Flair became an 8x Women’s Champion, the first female to win the most PPVs; broke the longest winning streak in WWE history when she made Asuka tap out after 914 days.  History doesn’t stop there. Look, at Renee Young, yes she was a backstage interviewer on both brands, and on the kickoff panel for pay-per-views. Young is now on the RAW commentary with Michael Cole and Corey Graves. She became part of the evolution of women; by becoming the first ever female full-time commentator. Young made history and is still part of the evolution as well.

Legends, Once A Diva, Now Superstar

They all come together because they know they made a dream become a reality. So, before you go bashing a former wrestler or a current wrestler by saying they don’t deserve to be part of the Evolution of women superstars;  ask yourself this, why? Every woman in the WWE today looks up to a legend or a past wrestler. That’s what makes the legends like Lita, Trish Stratus, Alundra Blayze, all worthwhile. A Lita vs Mickie James match could show the world; they still got what it takes. The PAST comes back to share the spotlight with the NOW and FOREVER.
