Milan Grab Late Winner To Take Three Points Against Roma

It was an exciting game of football full of attacking play. But Milan grabbed the win in a last-minute winner courtesy of Patrick Cutrone.

There were crazy scenes last night at Giuseppe Meazza stadium as Milan stole the three points at the death.

Goals were ruled out via VAR reviews for their respective sides after visiting defender Federico Fazio cancelled out Franck Kessie’s 40th-minute opener.

The opener came via Ricardo Rodriguez who proved too agile for Fazio and fizzed a ball in front of the face of goal.

With Frank Kessie, caught the left side of Roma’s defence sleeping and slotted in from close range.

Fazio atoned for his mistake in Milan’s opener with a fine volleyed effort to level the scores in the 59th minute. After a poor punched clearance by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side thought they had their second through Higuain. But VAR proved that he was fractionally Offside and the goal was disallowed.

Steven N’Zonzi was the man caught with VAR next, but Milan’s shambolic defending from set pieces will be worrying.

Then came Milan’s young striking sensation, Cutrone who scored the winner in the 94th minute of injury time.

Up next after the international break, Roma faces Chievo at home while Milan travel to Cagliari on the same day.
