John Cena Debuted a New Finisher Named “The Lightning Fist”

16-time WWE champion, John Cena has been on a bit of a hiatus since losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. Since his loss, Cena has taken time to star in movies, television shows, and of course training for another in-ring return. According to Cena himself, he has been training at the Jackie Chan Training Centre in Shanghai, China. Why is he there? Cena is there training to learn the ways of an ancient fighting technique from teachers and other students to hopefully debut a new finishing move.

Cena stats that people often criticize him for having a “repetitive offense”. John Cena also claims that fans seem to think he has become “too predictable” with his in-ring skill.

Because of these claims, Cena has been learning a new “Americanized” version of a popular fighting strike.

Sixth Move of Doom: “The Doomiest”

John Cena made his in-ring return September 1, at a WWE Live event in Shanghai, China. This live event took place near the training facility Cena was working in. As seen in the video above, the new move is a running back fist punch to the opponent’s face. This finish, nicknamed “The Sixth Move of Doom” by Cena himself, is taken from the fighting style he learned while at the Jackie Chan Training Centre. It has been officially named, “The Lightning Fist”.

It certainly is nothing too flashy or complicated. It is new and can be effective if opponents don’t see it coming. This may give Cena the “edge” he was looking for when making his return.

John Cena has not announced a return to either SmackDown Live or RAW yet. When he does make his return to the main roster, we hope he brings his “Sixth Move of Doom” with him.
