Ric Flair On Lesnar versus Reigns

Every fan in the WWE Universe has their own opinions. And, in this particular case, it’s  wrestler against wrestler. It’s different when another WWE superstar or former WWE superstar have a say. WWE Hall of Famer the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair spoke out  about how he feels about Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar.  What exactly did the legend have to say; about Lesnar vs Reigns? Also we will take a quick look into the reason Flair missed SummerSlam last year.

Roman “The Big Dog” Reigns, the powerhouse of  The Shield and now current  WWE Universal Champion comes from a famous wrestling family the Anoa’i Family. Ric Flair says:

“What is really cool is, that Roman Reigns isn’t afraid of the “Beast incarnate “Brock Lesnar. Or any other opponent, for that matter. Lesnar is a phenomenal athlete, but Reigns isn’t afraid of him when most guys are. I wrestled Brock myself at the age of 54. Nobody gets afraid that Brock will injure them during a match, but it’s  the pressure to look across the ring at him standing across from you.”

Ric’s Dream

Last Summer, Ric Flair was supposed to be at SummerSlam the week he went through all of his medical issues. The Hall of Famer had health issues where he was in a medically induced coma; where he had  to have surgery to have parts of his bowels removed. The surgery was successful despite being given a slim chance of surviving the surgery. Overall, Flair came out okay.

Ric said he dreamt of a lot of things during this time. For example, his daughter getting married was one.

Additionally, Flair was set to be the Colonel Sanders for KFC but due to his medical problem, he wasn’t able to attend last year’s SummerSlam. Instead, Shawn Michaels was the one that took the role of the Colonel. The Heartbreak Kid then made his way to the ring to represent KFC!

Lesnar defended  the Universal Championship in the same night  in a fatal four way match against Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns. No shocker here, but Brock was able to defeat  all three men to retain.  Reigns and Lesnar faced off again at this year’s SummerSlam for the top spot once again. This year, we crowned a new Universal Champion. Roman Reigns was able to break the record of 504 days, held by Lesnar to become the new champion.

What are you thoughts about Roman Reigns? Do you think Brock Lesnar should still be Champion?
