Juventus And Milan Complete Three-Way Swap

The clubs have completed a sensational triple deal that brings Gonzalo Higuain to San Siro. In addition, Mattia Caldara along side Leonardo Bonucci head back where he won six Serie A titles.

AC Milan has confirmed the signings of Juventus pair Higuain and Caldara as they bid farewell to Bianconeri-bound defender Bonucci.

The deal has now been finalized, with Higuain getting ready to star at his third Serie A club on an initial loan move. In addition, this includes a fee estimated at €18 million (£16m/$21m).

The move for Higuain is said to be to make some financial room. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo to the club made have impacted the financial side of the team. However, the return of Bonucci will fair well with the Bianconeri.

Nevertheless, Higuain had some kind words for Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri:

“I have big respect for Sarri but he was the only one who wanted me at Chelsea,” Higuain said. “Here at Milan everyone wanted me. That’s why I chose Milan. The motivation and conviction they showed at Milan was fundamental.”
