Jack Grealish: Spurs Confirmed To Have Bid On 22-Year-Old Aston Villa Ace

London, England – A glimmer of hope for Spurs fans all across the globe. In a recent interview Villa manager Steve Bruce confirmed that the club had received a bid for Jack Grealish. The bidder? None other than Mr. Deadline Day, Spurs Chairman, Daniel Levy. But Levy being Levy, had bid ‘nowhere near’ Villa’s valuation of the England under-21 international.

“If someone wants to buy our players, they are going to have to find a premium and make sure the owners are comfortable with it.” said the Villa manager. The club’s recent acquisition by Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris and American financier Wes Edens has improved their condition in the transfer market. They are not required to sell players anymore to avoid a financial crisis, thus making Grealish more pricey to obtain. The player is said to be keen to move away from the club though, so deal could still be very likely.
