Paris Saint-Germain Complete Gianluigi Buffon Signing From Juventus

Paris, France – Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon. The Italian legendary goalkeeper joins PSG on a free transfer.

The 40-year-old left Juventus at the end of last season, ending a 17-year career with the club. While at Juventus, Gigi featured in 656 games while winning nine Serie A scudettos.

“I know what dreams PSG and its fans have in their hearts,” he said.

“I am going to bring all my energy, all my experience and all of my thirst to win to help my new club achieve all the great objectives it has set out for the future.

“For the first time in my career, I am leaving my country and only a project this ambitious could have encouraged me to make such a decision.”

The veteran keeper had been linked to a move to the Ligue 1 side, but now those rumors are a reality. In the addition, the the iconic player will shelve retirement and prolong his playing career.
