Rajon Rondo Heads To Los Angeles Lakers

Just when you thought the Lakers were done, New Orleans PG Rajon Rondo heads to Los Angeles Lakers on a one-year deal for $9 million according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The signing comes just days after LA acquired the NBA’s best player and arguably the biggest signing of the franchise since Shaq back in 1996.

His championship breed and veteran knowledge is a great addition to the Lakers. He helped the Pelicans sweep Portland by averaging 10 points per game, 12 assists per game along with 7 rebounds. In addition, at his age he has the ability to be an all around player. Nevertheless, some say had he not gone down in the 2017 playoffs with a fractured right thumb, he would have helped the Chicago Bulls upset Boston in the first round.

The Lakers are really trying to get back to showtime now having LeBron, Lonzo Ball and Rondo. All good facilitators. It looks like the Lakers aren’t done making moves. This is a quality signing for the Lakers and should help them contend for a title next season.
