Bray Wyatt Injured Following Collision

Even the “Eater of Worlds” can have his world shaken upside down in an instant. It has been reported that Bray Wyatt was involved in a scary automobile accident this past Friday. The accident was a head-on collision, and Bray’s car was totaled. Though there is no mention of who is at fault, Bray Wyatt did sustain some injuries. WWE announced that Bray would not be appearing on this week’s RAW due to this unfortunate circumstance.

Bray was hospitalized over the weekend, but has since been released. Although the injuries were not very clear, Bray told TMZ that he “can not die” and he’s “moving around.” Interestingly, he seemed to be giving that interview in character, much like a promo. Hopefully, that means things may not be too serious.

Regardless, the WWE have yet to shed light on what Bray Wyatt’s status will be for Extreme Rules on July 15th. Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy are currently slated to defend their Tag Team Championship belts against Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

What Could Happen?

Of course, Bray Wyatt could walk away with a few bumps and bruises and no serious ailments. This would be best-case scenario, obviously. I personally would love to see Bo Dallas take on his brother, and perhaps even join him in the long run.

But if things are a bit more serious, Bray Wyatt may not be able to compete at all. We could see the “Deleters of Worlds” disassemble, leaving Matt Hardy to go forward as a singles competitor. At least for a while. It would also likely mean that Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt would be forced to vacate the titles. Unless, of course, Matt Hardy could find someone else to take Bray’s place…

Too bad a certain rainbow-haired warrior was drafted to SmackDown Live. Oh, WWE…. Sigh.
