Warriors Complete The Sweep To Go Back To Back

The Golden State Warriors go back to back, sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers on their home court. Steph Curry came out the gate on fire, putting down three’s from all over the floor. Kevin Durant looked like Kevin Durant from Game 3. Klay Thompson had an impact under the rim snagging six rebounds. On the losing side, Lebron James tried his best to keep his team in the series. Ultimately it wasn’t enough to keep his team alive. Going 7-13 on FG scoring 23 points with seven rebounds and eight assists. Kevin Love played his part as well snagging nine rebounds and dropping thirteen points.

Cavaliers Were Outmatched From The Start

From the start of the game, it never seemed that The Cavaliers were ever in the game. Curry and The Warriors came out fast and didn’t slow down the whole game. The Cavs only went 34% on FG and a measly 25% on three-pointers. The Warriors, however, were very efficient offensively hitting 45% of their FG and 36% of their three-pointers. Warriors defense overpowered Cleveland’s weak offense. An offense in which they couldn’t get any three-pointers to drop. At one point it seemed like The Cavs were just throwing up shots hoping they would fall. Forcing The Cavs to play in the paint and missing a lot. Warriors in the game snagging 34 defensive rebounds to Cleveland’s 27.

NBA Finals MVP

No surprise on who was the NBA Finals MVP. Kevin Durant was a major factor in every Warriors win in the Finals. Scoring 26 points in Game 1 and 2 in Game 3 Durant picked up the slack and dropped 43 points. Leading The Warriors to a Game 3 victory and tonight dropping 20 points and securing the triple-double. Kevin Durant is surely making a case for the leader of the team after winning back to back MVPs in the Finals. Kevin Durant sure seems to be enjoying himself in Golden State securing two Rings and two Finals MVPs.
