Cubs Look To Complete The Sweep Against Pittsburgh

Another fantastic offensive showing in last nights game. The Cubs look to keep the ball rolling and complete the sweep against The Pittsburgh Pirates. With Kyle Hendricks taking the mound tonight. I’m really looking for him to build on his last outing in which he was able to go 7 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 0 BB and 7 SO. Kyle was on point in his last start and a lot of us hope it was the start of a big turn around for Kyle. I guess we will found out tonight if that’s the case or not.

Kyle Hendricks Up Against The Pittsburgh Offense

In Kyle’s last start against Pittsburgh, he wasn’t pinpoint like he was in his previous start. However, he didn’t give up many runs going 6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 3 BB and 7 SO. The overall line isn’t bad considering he only gave up two runs, only it was in a losing effort. Hopefully, it’s different fortunes this time around for Kyle, he hasn’t given up more than three earned runs in his past eight starts. And with how The Cubs offense has been playing this past couple of game. You have to be confident in their chances tonight to complete the sweep.

Kyle Hendricks Final Line(Prediction)- 6.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB and 6 SO

The Cubs Offense Needs To Keep The Momentum Rolling

Another solid outing in last nights game scoring eight runs on thirteen hits. The Cubs offense looks to keep the momentum rolling their way to complete the sweep against Pittsburgh. Leading off for The Cubs tonight is Albert Almora Jr. who has done very well in the leadoff position this season. Leading off Albert Almora is batting .360 while when he bats in the one spot is hitting .333. Also, having is amazing defensive abilities is a plus as well. Baez get’s the start tonight after sitting out last nights game. It’s hard to play consistently like The Cubs offense have been playing. Playing good at a crucial point so they(The Cubs) don’t get too far back in the division race.
