Is WWE Interested in Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks?

Despite what the WWE wants fans to believe, Indie wrestling is at an all-time high point. No longer is the WWE the tallest tower, the true point in which a star has “made it.” This has proven to be true following the All In wrestling show put together by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks.

Interestingly enough, the show was literally based off from a bet. What’s even better is the show is a 10,000 seater. And those seats all sold out in under an hour, having to turn away many fans waiting.

The last show comparable to an event in Chicago done by the WWE is the NXT TakeOver in 2017, which headlined with Bobby Roode and Hideo Itami. Even Wrestling Observer Radio‘s very own Dave Meltzer has applauded this accomplishment. However, the WWE may be looking to swipe the three members at the top of it all.

Could WWE want to be “All In” as far as the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes go? Well, it’s likely. They don’t usually play nicely when other promotions come in and prove a point. Meltzer even pointed out that the star power between those three might be everything the WWE is looking for.

“WWE’s going to be after all of them…I don’t know how long Cody’s contract is, but obviously the Young Bucks’ contract ends at the end of the year. This is a pretty good time to look like stars.”

This is particularly interesting because the Young Bucks have had plenty of heat with the WWE on their own (cease and desist, anyone?) and Cody Rhodes clashed horribly with the WWE during his run as Stardust. Still, sometimes money talks. It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to see these men in the WWE soon enough.
