Nick Busick

Nick Busick, former WWE star known as Big Bully Busick in the early ’90s; has died at the age of 63 in Weirton, West Virginia. He was fighting esophageal cancer and beat it in 2015. In June 2016, Busick announced he was cancer-free. The following year, Busick was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent neurosurgery.

The Ryan Ferns Healthplex even helped raise money for former WWE star.

He has battled numerous health issues since 2005; was diagnosed with spinal fluid cancer last year, and had been under hospice care in West Virginia as of late. His wife noted on Facebook that he passed away with his family at his side.

Celebrating his career!

He is best-known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1991; where he portrays a stereotypical bully from the 1920s with a “turtleneck, bowler hat, and king-sized cigar”. He has also given a manager in a puny runt looking man named Harvey Wippleman. He is the original bully in pro-wrestling; the company usually put him as a heel jobber, though he won at least two matches. He never underwent any other formal training, stating he “learned in the ring”.

A notorious in-ring villain knows for his signature derby and mustache, Busick battles Superstars like Bret Hart, Sid and The British Bulldog in the early ’90s.

Life outside of wrestling, he served as a police officer and a bodyguard. And he also has his own nutrition bar company too. With the ‘Big Bully MMA’ banner, he promotes MMA shows; his son, Branko Busick, also debuting in Bellator and currently holding a record of 1-1.

The Whole TSJ101 Sports family would like to send our deepest condolences to Busick’s family, friends, and fans.
